Samsung Phone Deals

Samsung Galaxy mobile phones are the most popular Android phones and among the most popular mobile phones alongside the Apple iPhone. The brand offers multiple series to choose from, including the S, A, M, Note, C and J Series, each of which offers slightly different features to suit the needs of a variety of users. The latest Samsung Galaxy smartphones include the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, Samsung Galaxy S22, Samsung Galaxy S21, Samsung Galaxy S20 and Galaxy Z Fold3.

The Note, C, and J Series have each been discontinued but can still be found at second-hand electronics stores. The M Series is the cheapest but it is only available for purchase online as a SIM-free phone via the Samsung website.

Get your Samsung Galaxy on a pay-monthly contract or pay for it in full. If you buy the handset outright from Samsung, you can then join a SIM-only plan from any provider. Certain providers even offer a 30-day SIM card deal, so you don’t necessarily have to commit yourself to a long-term contract. Twelve-month and 24-month SIM card plans are also an option. Take a look at our comparison of each series and find out which phone is a good fit for you.

S Series

The S Series includes Samsung’s top phones, making it the most expensive range. It offers cutting-edge technology, including waterproofing, AMOLED display, increased battery life and a multiple lens camera. S Series phones are also 5G-ready, so you can enjoy 5G mobile phone coverage and data speeds. You can view deals for these devices in our comparison tool.

Model Size of main display (inches) Weight Battery capacity (mAh) Front camera – resolution
Galaxy S22 Ultra 6.8” 228 5,000 40.0 MP

Z Series

These are foldable and flip phones that are compatible with the S stylus pen. Z phones are easy to carry and can be used as both a phone and mini tablet. These are some of Samsung’s top tier phones, so they are also on the expensive side. You can view deals for these devices in our comparison tool.

Model Size of main display (inches) Weight (g) Battery capacity (mAh) Front camera – resolution
Galaxy Z Fold4 7.6” 263 4,400 10.0 MP

Galaxy Z Fold3 7.4” 271 4,400 12.0 MP
Galaxy Z Flip3 6.6” 183 300 10.0 MP

These are Samsung’s mid-range phones and are cheaper than the S Series and Z Series. They cost less because they have an aluminium frame and slower technology. The advantage of this is that they are more lightweight, even if they have a screen that surpasses the 6.4-inch mark. You can view deals for these devices in our comparison tool.

Samsung Galaxy phone contract deals

Samsung Galaxy mobile phone contracts can be found with major mobile network providers such as VodafoneEEThree and O2, as well as some smaller providers, for example GiffgaffPlusnet and Virgin Mobile. You can go directly to any network provider as they offer the latest deals on Samsung Galaxy phone contracts. Occasionally, you can get discounts, extra data, a free gadget or cash back when you join.

Certain providers will let you customise your phone contract. For example, Vodafone allows customers to choose the upfront cost and their contract length, although this will affect the monthly price they pay. Each provider offers different add-ons, so compare mobile phone contracts across providers to find out which is the best deal for you.

More often than not, there will be an upfront cost to pay before your contract starts in addition to the monthly price. The provider will often also need to run a credit check before you can sign up for a pay-monthly deal.

You can trade in your old phone to get money off your new handset deal. If you already have a SIM plan, you can also opt for a SIM-free Samsung Galaxy instead. These phones are unlocked to any provider and can be paid for in one full payment. Unlike on a phone contract, you will own the mobile phone outright from the first payment and there will be no need for a credit check.

What should I look for in my Samsung?

Quality of screen

The quality and size of the screen is a factor to consider when choosing the right phone for you. Most phones nowadays have a 6.0-inch screen or bigger, which might be convenient for you if you often perform many tasks on your phone or do business on the go. If this is the case, the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra might be for you, offering a 6.8-inch AMOLED display.

Another benefit of a large screen is that images, texts and emojis are clearer, giving you a feeling that the phone runs smoothly. Apple, Motorola and OnePlus also offer large phones with a 6.8-inch screen, for example the Apple iPhone 13, the Motorola Edge 20 Pro and the OnePlus 9 Pro.

If you prefer a smaller screen of less than six inches, you can also find a device this size with excellent screen quality, although not from Samsung. Take a look at the Apple iPhone mini selection, including Apple iPhone 11 mini, iPhone 12 mini an iPhone 13 mini.

Battery life

Most smartphones offer a long-lasting battery, but you might want to find out the phone’s battery life before purchasing. The quality of the battery will indicate how long the phone takes to charge and how long it can run on a single charge.

The Samsung Galaxy A32, A52 and A53 are known to have a good battery life, lasting between 14-30 hours on a single charge. It is impossible to say precisely how long the battery will last because it depends on how much you use it throughout the day. The Apple iPhone 13 is also known to offer superfast charge and a long-lasting battery.

Processor

The processor will determine the speed and smoothness of the phone. Nowadays, most phones have a fast processor, though some are quicker than others. You might want to take processor speed into account when buying a new phone because a slow phone may be frustrating in the long-term. The S22 and S21 offer an Exynos processor that delivers superfast speeds for excellent performance.

Quality of camera

Consider the quality of both the selfie camera and the rear-facing camera if you want to take good quality photos. The latest phones usually offer some added camera features to help you unleash your creative side, such as portrait, panorama, dual or triple camera, as well as a photo editor. The Galaxy S22 Ultra is touted by Samsung as having the best-quality camera.
