Manchester United are now third favourites to win the Premier League title after a good run of form either side of the World Cup break.

The Red Devils have come in to 28/1 to end their 10-year title drought, with Manchester City and Arsenal still leading the way at 4/7 and 13/8 respectively.

Red Devils enter reckoning

Manchester United are now 28/1 to win the Premier League after picking up their form in the league, having won each of their three matches since the season resumed after the World Cup.

Since losing 6-3 at Manchester City in October, United have won seven and drawn two of 10 league matches and they go into Saturday's return fixture against their local rivals at Old Trafford only four points behind City, the 4/7 favourites.

Arsenal, the league leaders, are five points clear of second-placed Manchester City and priced at 13/8 to go on and win a fourth Premier League title.

Mikel Arteta’s side have lost just once in the league - to United - and will be hoping the Manchester rivals can take points off each other a day before their own local derby at Tottenham Hotspur.

United will be targeting victories over City and Arsenal, who they also face this month at the Emirates Stadium, to make it a three-way title race.

Newcastle United (40/1) and Liverpool (66/1) complete the top five in the market. The Magpies are level on points with Manchester United and have also lost just once in the league. They cannot be discounted just yet but Liverpool look unlikely to bridge a 16-point gap to Arsenal.
